Tours, which must be booked in advance, last about an hour and a quarter and are conducted by the Beadle, the deputy Beadle or the Archivist. Although there are a number of stairs in the Hall, the tour is accessible to people with disabilities.

A number of souvenirs of the Company will be on sale also.

As the Hall is used for a variety of other functions, some days may not be available. Anyone wishing to visit the Hall for specific reasons, such as consulting the archives or to see certain items, should contact the Archivist via our Contact Us page.

Tours can be booked for times between 10am and 3pm, Monday to Thursday

Please contact us, via the Contact Us page or telephone 0114 272 8456.

The 2018 Heritage Open Day (as part of the national series of events) was on SUNDAY, 16 September, a successful change from our usual day of Saturday.  Over 500 people visited the Hall and most took part in one of the six guided tours throughout the day.
